Black Sun Academy is excited to announce a weekend painting workshop with Bogusz Stupnicki, also known as BOHUN!
Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, BOHUN has been passionate about miniature painting since 2005. With a decorated career that includes Golden Demon awards among other accolades, his focus has consistently been on pushing the boundaries of what is achievable within the world of figure painting. While inspired by renowned artists such as Kirill Kanaev, Albert Moreto Font, Alfonso Giraldes, and Raul Latorre, his deepest artistic influence comes from the Polish surrealist and abstract artist Zbigniew Beksinski. This influence profoundly shapes his miniature work, infusing it with abstract patterns, textures, and intricate details.
This workshop will emphasise mastering core techniques, deepening understanding of colour theory, painting diverse materials, and tackling the art of True Metallic Metal (TMM). Additionally, BOHUN will share his insights on freehand detailing, while also demonstrating his passion for textures and various special effects. Whether you aim to refine your skills or explore new creative avenues in figure painting, this immersive session with one of the industry’s finest promises to be both inspiring and transformative.
